Mobina Pournemat

I am a second-year Computer Science Ph.D. student at the University of Maryland, College Park, advised by Prof. Soheil Feizi. My research focuses on reasoning in Large Language Models, with a particular interest in efficient reasoning — making LLMs reason more reliably and at lower computational cost.

Before joining UMD, I earned my B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. During my undergraduate years and afterwards, I gained research and industry experience in NLP, computer vision, and data science.
